Submission Guidelines

A publishing house has a significant role in the society. It provides a narrative that can influence and be the catalyst of betterment. We, through our traditional outlet aspire to take Estab Press to a position where it can do this effectively while keeping it a sustainable venture. We, at present are looking for diverse topics. Our selection criteria include critical thinking, language skills, and market trends and of course in the uniqueness of the storyline.

We accept unsolicited manuscripts of fiction and non-fiction genre, provided you provide us with the following.

  • A quick concept note of not more than 500 words, just to know how singular the idea stands. (Believe it or not, the crowd of good writers is ever-growing and we just want to make sure, you are not cornered there.)
  • A chapter wise synopsis- It helps us to gather your narration skills.
  • Any 3 chapters that you believe is best to describe your potential to become the next bestseller.
  • Author Details- To help us know you better.
  • Genre & Target audience- It is highly essential to know your target audience before choosing your language complexity. Remember, a child’s grasp is different from an adult and vice-versa. And i

Once we receive your manuscript, our editor, assigned for that specific genre is appointed to analyse your work on the grounds of language, content, sales potential and narration skill. We do believe, like readers, even editors carry a specific taste. After all, a crime-thriller cannot be scrutinized through the lens of a humour.

We will try our best to revert back within a span of two weeks. But, in case you don’t receive any information from our side, you can always send us a reminder. We will never leave you unanswered.

If all goes well and your manuscript is selected for publishing, there is a proper legal procedure to be followed regarding the copyright and royalty and other things. We are afraid, Publishing is not a one-step process. And in case, we fail to proceed with your manuscript, never lose heart. J.K. Rowling was rejected too before making her mark in this world.
